A beautiful bundle of golden brass consisting of The Be Merie/Domine eating knife, brass spoon and brass Pricket candle stick. Very festive.
Beautiful medieval eating knife with decorated brass handle inscribed with 'Be Merie' on one face and 'Domine' (Our Lord) on the other. Both motifs were common. These were taken from a 14thC knife but these brass handled knives were popular from 13th through to the 16thC
