Long Swiss/German Degen - 15thC to 16thC Landsknecht Medieval Reproduction Sword
Dating from mid 15th Century to mid 16th Century. The Swiss Degen was a short Medieval and Renaissance sword that was particularly loved by Landsknecht mercenaries who would have called it a ‘Schweizerdegen’. The characteristically Swiss design was also used and worn by civilians and this type of sword always had the top and bottom guards curving toward each other. Daggers of time showed similar features and were often called ‘Schweizerdolch’. This sword has a strong double edged blade that is hexagonal for the first 30cm/12” and then transitions to a diamond section. The guards are latten (brass) and the grip is ebonised ash wood.
The Degen comes with a fantastic wood cored scabbard covered in vegtan leather and finished with a latten (brass) chape.

This medieval or renaissance dagger is based on numerous museum examples and THE classic side arm of Landsknechts. Solid brass hilt with 'S' quills and a strong double-edged blade.
Double edged with a 24.5cm blade and comes with an embossed leather sheath in red, brown, green or black. Brass chape

Heart Medieval Eating Knife 14-15th Century
This medieval eating knife is based on a composite of historical examples from the 14thand 15thC. The carbon steel blade is stamped with a makers mark and has a carved brass bolster and black horn grip scales, notably punched through with a cut out heart lined in brass.
This is a stunning middle class eating knife and perfect for anyone – the heart motif was popular with both men and women.
The scabbard has carved decoration and is finished with a ‘tabbed’ hanging point.
