Both eating knives are suitable for 14-15thC Middle and Merchant Class reenactment but are quite different in appearance with one having a wooden scales and the other, dot and circle patterned bone.

A simple eating knife suitable for the better class of peasant and the middle and merchant class.
Wood handle scales, bronze bolsters, carbon steel blade and decorated veg tan leather sheath.

A middle status eating knife with a long brass bolster and bone scales. The scales are fixed with brass and copper rivets, so the whole appearance is quite ‘merchant class’. Comes with a decorated veg tan leather sheath.
