Based on river Thames finds, this simple medieval eating knife is robust and functional and having a slightly leaf shaped blade it was also the height of fashion. Suitable for 12th-14thC
Wooden handle with brass bolster and cap and stout single edged blade with 'cross decoration' along top of blade. Double layer veg tan, decorated leather sheath. (please note, decoration may vary from the picture)
