These medieval eating knives are based on a composite of historical examples from the 14thand 15thC. The carbon steel blade is stamped with a makers mark and has a carved brass bolster. One has black horn grip scales and the other dark wooden scales. Notably they are punched through with a cut out heart lined in brass.
These are stunning middle class eating knives and perfect for either sex – the heart motif was popular with both men and women.
The scabbards have carved decoration and are finished with a ‘tabbed’ hanging point.
