Based on examples in the Royal Armouries and Museum of London.14th 15th Century Medieval Rondel Dagger English and French in style. This reproduction knife is strong with a blade that is mostly diamond section with a long ricasso and very thick at the hilt.
The grip is in ash, carved in a barley twist with inset latten (brass) rivets. Both the top and bottom rondels are hollow steel fabrications and the top rondel features a prominent tang button and four further decorative rivets.
The sheath is formed from a double layer of veg tan leather and finished with a latten (brass) chape.

Edge sharpness
Semi-Sharp is 'butter knife sharp'; it has a very fine flat on the edge.
Sharp has been ground to give a reasonable cutting edge, but final honing, if required, is by the customer.
