Small medieval bollock pouch from 14-16thC with a gusset that makes for a good internal volume with incised and stamped decoration on the front flap and a period appropriate latten (brass) buckle. Will suit lower and middle class folk with bits and bobs to carry.
Medieval people didn’t have pockets in their clothing so they wore belt pouches often called at the time pockets and used them to carry all their daily essentials. Whether you are a living history purist or you like to carry your car keys, mobile phone and some loose change, these will suit.
Based a composite of examples from the amazing book 'Purses in Pieces' by Olaf Goubitz.
