Warriors’ long seax based on the ‘broken back’ style that was popular in England, Holland and France during the 10thC to 12thC. Comes with a tough veg tan sheath in brown only and closed with a rivet pattern and hung from two straps.
The blade is forged from welded carbon steels and the handle is made from rosewood, bone and brass with incised decoration.
IMPORTANT Keep the blade oiled and out of the sheath if being stored for extended periods.
The knife comes sharp to give a reasonable cutting edge, but final honing if required, is to be by the customer.
