This Scottish Dirk is characterised by a solid, barrel shaped grip, usually wood or metal, in this case Brass, with a twisted tang button and a long single edged blade.  The pommel top is decorated with a flower pattern and the dagger comes with a simple double layer vegetable tanned leather sheath.

(see TC54 Wooden handled Scottish dirk for another option)

Please note that the ‘actual grip’ on dirks are always short and the hand is intended to partially cover the haunches.

Overall length 47cm/18.5”

Blade length 35cm/13.75”

Please note: The colours may vary in tone from the photos here.  Each skin of leather is different and reacts differently to the dye so they may be darker or lighter in tone
