Bone Tweezers

Bone tweezers and ear scoop 16thC. Closely based on a piece recovered from the Mary Rose (1545). Both the tweezers and the ear scoop are functional. Tweezers for plucking hairs, the ear scoop is a traditional item throughout the Medieval and Renaissance era for cleaning out earwax. Clearly we do not recommend that these days.
