This late Viking sword features a Brazil nut pommel so liked by the Vikings and the early Normans and a slender hilt that has left the chunkier typical Viking guards behind and is moving more toward the medieval hilts of the 12th and 13thC and a type 10 double sided blade. It was designed for cutting with a fuller running most of its length. A narrow guard, cord wrapped leather grip and of course the lovely brazil nut pommel.
It comes with a wood cored scabbard, wrapped in naturally tanned leather, finished with a brass horseshoe chape and an integrated tied sword belt.

Semi-Sharp is 'butter knife sharp'; it has a very fine flat on the edge. Sharp has been ground to give a reasonable cutting edge, but final honing, if required, is by the customer.
