The Sheffield trade knife (TC78) is based on 18th and 19thC examples and suitable for reenactment for these periods of European history. Millions of this type of knife were sent over to the US both for use by frontiersmen and of course for trade with the native peoples.

The reenactment knife is a simply made 'utility' knife that lends itself well for tasks, camping, cooking and for defence and so can be either military or civilian.

Strurdy single edged blade, riveted wooden scales and veg tan leather sheath with copper reinforcing rivets and integral belt loop.
