This medieval eating knife is based on a composite of historical examples from the 14thand 15thC. The carbon steel blade is stamped with a makers mark and has a carved brass bolster and black horn grip scales, notably punched through with a cut out heart lined in brass.
This is a stunning middle class eating knife and perfect for either sex – the heart motif was popular with both men and women.
The scabbard has carved decoration and is finished with a ‘tabbed’ hanging point, which requires a little extra care when inserting the knife. £36
