The medieval eating knife is based on a River Thames find but is typical for France, Germany and the Low Countries too.  Medieval eating knives were often paired with a pricker to make an 'eating set'.

The medieval eating knife has wooden grip scales and is finished with a brass bolster and pommel.  The blade itself has an asymmetric sharpened false edge which was a common feature for this period.

The medieval eating set comes in a double layer veg tan leather sheath with individual pockets for knife and pricker.
